Stephanie LaPersonne, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey.
Stephanie majored in Sociology at Loyola University Maryland where she completed undergraduate coursework while graduating Cum Laude. She then received a Master’s in Social Work at Rutgers University. After graduating, Stephanie gained experience working as a therapist using a family systems approach when providing therapy services to families in group settings and when meeting with children individually. She also has extensive experience working with aging adults who are experiencing difficulties with loss and grief and managing the progression of chronic illnesses.
Stephanie provides care for children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families working to manage issues impacting all aspects of life including school, work, and relationships. She provides clients with services utilizing Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and aspects of the Nurtured Heart Approach. Stephanie has experience utilizing aspects of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well when necessary.
Stephanie works with clients on goal setting, identifying and effectively utilizing coping skills, developing and recognizing strengths, and practicing mindfulness. She partners with clients to manage stressors, recognize negative thought patterns, and work towards achieving client identified goals.
